In England & Wales, the rules prevent the 'coaching' of witnesses who will be giving evidence in trial. That does not mean witnesses cannot be trial ready.
We therefore offer a bespoke service where we put your witnesses through their paces in factually distinct and wholly fictitious mock cross examination(s) at the hands of experienced counsel.
By the end, their ability to give cogent, clear evidence will be vastly improved. From body language to intonation - we know how to prepare a witness for the experience of giving evidence and as a result, the quality and value of their evidence to your client's case.
Our Founder
Sahar Farooqi is the CEO and founder of Legalencia.
Before founding Legalencia, Sahar was a barrister for fifteen years, specialising in international commercial dispute resolution. He has worked in global law firms, including as a partner, where he has co-founded two multi-million pound subsidiary businesses.
In addition, he has acted for FTSE 100 Companies, Insurers, UHNWIs / Family Offices, Government Departments (domestic and foreign) and Airlines. He has led strategic hires and growth plans across EMEA and Asia, including multiple new office openings and appointments.
In 2024, in an industry first, he was appointed as the Transformation Officer for a global offshore law firm, where he reported to the managing partner and worked with the firm’s c-suite and executive committee on aspects of transformative change strategies spanning: culture, growth, technology and communications.
Having been at the Bar, in international law firms and off-shore firms, he has a unique insight into the operational pressures faced by a diverse range of legal businesses in challenging, developing markets.
With over 45,000 followers on LinkedIn, he is a widely known and respected name in the legal industry, frequently key noting at events and conferences. He also sits on the board of Legal TechTalk - Europe’s leading event for transformation.
Sahar understands the nuance and difficulty in creating, finding support for, and implementing organisational change. He knows the challenges presented by stakeholders and the delivery required to satiate them.
